I need the kick panel seal and was looking at LMC. Check out number #3. I looked at my kickpanel and the only thing there is a chrome cap at the end of the kickpanel. Is this the same as #3 and if so, why the hell is it $24bux.

I think that might actually be the handle at the end of the rod that you pull to open those fresh air vents on the floor? Or a plug that fills the whole in the rocker molding where that rod used to go on models that had those manual floor vents. it is probably 24 bux becuase nobody buys it so it is a low production part. Only people doing a concours restoration.
definently the plug the goes into the hole that the manual floor vent rod came thru on non a/c models.lmc is one of those companies you have to keep an eye on.some of their prices are decent and sometime they are way overpriced.case in point:they wanted 699.99 for 69-72 blazer interior bedside panels and they are repos!show me someone who will buy my original panels for that price and its on!
Go to Home Depot and go through their assortments at the front of the store, I bet you can find a very similar plug for a few cents.
