What bell housing?500 Catty.

I have an 89 ford F150 work truck with a 302 and I want more tourke.I was going to do another 460 but I want somethin different,So what about a 500 catty motor? I dont mind using a non ford tranny but I would like to keep the 4x4 if I could.So I would need a way do do a 500 caddy with whatever tranny needed assuming a chevy??And have the driver drop transfercase.

What do I need to do this as far as tranny/T case stuff? Can I just use the right tranny and bolt a ford T case to it?

any b.o.p. bellhousing tranny will work, then u would need the right case to mount to it. u can do a standard tranny but u would need to drill the crank for a pilot(ways around this too i hear). & use a tranny adapter plate from jegs.
