Im getting ready to rebuild the 14FF in my 78 with 4.10's and was wondering what brand of gears u would recommend? I have found gears from yukon, richmond, and superior axle. I run 35's and run on and off road and also have a detroit locker. Im just looking for a good reliable set of gears. Thanks for any help

I would actually say find a low mileage used r&p, considering 4.10 is probably the most common 14 bff ratio EVER. Cheaper than new.

I actually have 4.10 now just want to put new stuff in. When i put my detroit in a while back you could kinda tell by the bearings and stuff that it has lots of miles. I just want new stuff so theres no weak link. I guess maybe i will do the yukons. Thanks for the help

I went with Yukon, great price and you get a cool sticker too. haha.

Yeah, you can find a LOT of used 4.10 gears for the ff14b. I'd go that route. If you want new gears, pretty much anyone but Genuine is good. Yukon tends to be my gear of choice because they are cheaper than most other brands.
