i have had several blazers, this is my first full top truck. a friend of mine has an 75. one ide in his ruck and i had to have one! i couldn't find one. i stumbled on this truck in a guys back yard! i went to look at a 89 he had 4 sale and this ruck was in the weeds in his side yard. it's an 87 tub with the 73 firewall/windsheild grafted on.i bought it for the body, there was nothin else! 2 years later, i can't wait to finish. i know once you wheel, you will never stop!! it is a true sickness! i started in high school, with a blazer. took a 12 year break to spend all my money drag racing. came back 6 years ago. don't know how i ever survived without it! i used to wheel alot in the adirondacks but the trails are getting closed all over. damb tree huggers!!

yea i would love to just get a ride in a full top blazer with the top of! i cant wait to wheel either, but i want a full top blazer, because any blazers are great, but in the newer ones you cant really enjoy the top off feature becuase you are under and behind a roof and windsheild, and only the passangers can enjoy it...whats the fun in that!??...but with the full top i can have no roof at all and nothing around my but the wind sheild in front of me! thats gatta be so cool! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

i typically park my truck in a real bad place, the parking lot is a sea of glass, know several people who've had their cars broken into...
but for some reason my truck has never been touched, i cant decide if its because of the NRA Armed with Pride stickers on it, or just the fact that the 35s are quite a change from the 20 inch rims in my area...
i actually had a neighborhood kid talk to me about it one day, he said its not something that anyone around would touch just because they know if they got caught it wouldnt be the police they'd have to worry about, they arent afraid of the police, but shotguns are a different story...
hehe funny thing is that the NRA stickers are from the previous owner....

lol... i park mine in a bad neighborhood and it doesn't get stolen either.... why doesn't anybody want my bucket of rust? i like it, but nobody else does /forums/images/icons/frown.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

i try to keep the things of value locked away in the engine compartment. i don't have much to steal other than a strap or two. my high lift, extra axles an drive shafts are locked when i leave it out. for the most part you have to lock away the stuff you wanna keep an hope for honest citizens for the rest.
