Since i have gotten spoiled driving the 02 2500HD for a couple weeks, im going to keep driving it, so when i pull my doors, top and tailgate off the K5 what do i do with the wires for the windows and door locks. I dont want to tape them up and forget they are there and no i wont put any of it back on in the future.

They unplug under the dash, I say remove them correctly, and since you won't be putting them back, sell them. Probably a fair numbr of people out there that either want to convert to PW/PDL, or people that have bad wiring.

The wires plug into harnesses located under the dash just beyond the holes in the kick panels.
Once you unplug the harnesses inside the rig I'd just use a zip tie to keep the other end from falling down by your feet.
It shouldn't be long enough for this to be a problem, but just in case.
