too far north!
hey just wondering what everyone's goal are today (truck goals that is!) i have been sitting at the computer too long this morning! today i want to finish cleaning the hub/spindles/and other parts to put the d60 back together. i want to replace cab mounts with poly ones and clean front sheetmetal parts for painting!since no one else is gonna do it for me i guess i better get out there!:hack: :woot:

If my fuel cell had arrived yesterday I would be putting it in right now but that didn't happen. Until I can move the K5 I can't really do much else to it. I have a list of "things to do around the house" about 3 feet long on the fridge. I might do something on there to keep the wife happy....at least until NASCAR comes on

If I didn't have to do what I need to do today. I would put my new u-joint in, put my driveshaft back and fill the t-case up again. Then I would finish my exhaust up to my muffler then I would take the truck down to the shop and have a tail pipe made.

Thanks
Adam

just got done orginizing the garage.. picking up daughter and fiancee to go to birthday dinner thing.. tonight hopefully glassing my dash pieces together... and awaiting monday drudgery... ;)

Was going to block sand, final prime, paint, then clear today... But the weather turned on me and it doesn't look like I'll be getting that done...

Driving

My goals for my 98 Silverado today are to make the 200 mile trip back to school smoothly and uneventfully.... Thats about all I can ask for..err maybe 17 mpg as usual...

Just repainted the dining room with the second coat. now it looks like I will be replacing a couple outlets in the living room making them 3 prong instead of 2. The joys of buying an old house:crazy:

Putting the finishing touches on the triple stick I'm building. And since I'm at work I can't go home till that is done... 25 miles one way.... Then when I get home, finish putting the 205 back together, all that is left is the tail shaft and housing. Then going to pull the th-350 out and get ready to tare into that. Oh ya, pulling the engine also..
Weeeeeeeeeee:woot:

me a couple of friiends are gonna finish up and paint this lifted golf cart we made to crusie around swapmeets. It cool because everything including the cart was free or i had i laying around.

Got in the outlets, changed oil in the family jeepster and started to relax. NEVER and I mean NEVER tell your wife that you have no work to do to your trucks. She starts telling me again how she wants a couple rabbits and asks me to build a rabbit hutch.
We had lots of leftover lumber so off I went. Got the hutch and sleeping box built. Just have to stop at the fee store tomorrow to get some screening to go in the bottom of their hutch...so the crap falls thru
I built it all beside the chicken coop since there was plenty of room there

I actually got alot done today. Finished the FI on the motor, dropped the motor in, re ran my tranny cooler lines, rewired my starter?alt cables and cleaned up a little bitgot most of the motor back together, and commenced to plugging in wires for FI. Cleaning up the other wires helped for a little bit, unitl I put the harness in for the FI. Now it looks like a spaghetti factory again. Also began to put the front back on it. Wish the wife didn't work 2nd shift or I would have gotten alot more done .
