I daily my 1989 Burb, gets about 10mpg but my commute is less than six miles each way,I rotate my 1994 GMC 1500 in once or twice a week. I have newer stuff but I love my old trucks.

I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman with the 5.7. It's a great truck and I do drive it to work some and really enjoy it on long road trips, but quite honestly I enjoy driving my 1990 GMC Jimmy most days. It has the interior room of a big truck, but the short wheel base makes it easy to get in and out of tight parking spaces etc. I haven't had it very long but the TBI seems to be dead on reliable so I'm happy with it. Not as cool looking as the 70 Blazer I had but it seems like a much more solid vehicle.

I daily drive a 2007 GMC Envoy Denali 4x4 it has a aluminum 5.3L V8 and gets way better fuel economy than my 89 k5 Fully loaded interior is nice too
