i did a search and got some good info, but as usual... not enough for someone as stupid as me! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif i gotta '73 k5 that is stock as can be under the hood- what kind of a/c compressor does it have? it says frigidaire - is that the "A6" i've heard about? if so, does this make a good oba compressor? if not, i'm thinkin' 'bout going all out with a kilby york setup... i saw where depdog fabbed a bracket. does he sell those or the drawings? please don't burn me too much for bringing up the much discussed oba thing, i need some advice! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I've heard those compressors referred to as "log style". Probably because they're about the size of a nice log for the fireplace. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif But I've never heard of anyone using that type of compressor for OBA.
