The 78 is due for a new set of plug wires. Im wondering what kind of vehicle i can order the plug wires for (and possibly what brand) to get a set that has all eight plug wires that have the 90* boots on the plug side. Seems everytime i order them there are at least two that have the straight boots. A friend told me that if you order them for certain vehicles (and not actually for a 78 k25) that you will get the proper set. Any advice? Thanks! I would also potentially be interested in a cut to fit kit, but i dont want plug wires that look "racey". I want them to look more or less stock. Or at least black from boot to boot.

I'm a fan of Taylors... just go to summit, and start weeding down the search from plug angle, etc...

generally, yes... no "order by year" set is ever the right lengths IMO...

should be good, just don't expect lengths to be 100% to your liking...

I think I'm going to risk it and try them out. Now I need to find a set of not ghey wire holders!

The ones for my burb are all 90 degree boots, both ends.

You running stock manifolds on this truck?

Should be good with whatever set you choose.

MSD street fire is a good plug wire for the price.

I've run a couple sets of MSD super conductors, good wire but expensive.

Got a set of Taylor's on my 97, seem pretty similar to the super conductors.

Had a set of accel 8.8's, wasn't a fan of em.

I have been running the same set of taylor spiro pro wires for over 10 years now. Haven't had a single problem with them. They have actually been on 3 different engines and probably have well over 100k miles on them. Now that I think about it i might need to replace them.
