What size Is the Pinion nut?

I need a socket for the pinion nuts on my 14ff and my D60. Figured someone would know before I run to the store. I know they're bigger than 1-1/4

I think it's like 1-5/16" only because my standard 1/2" socket set went to 1-1/4" and nothing was big enough....


Also IIRC, the wall thickness is important too. A big ol' socket may not fit in the yoke the way you're hoping....
