I know it's some type of crab, but thats all I know. I posted it mainly because it looks cool
it dosent look real but it looks like it COULD be thats one badass crab!
Since I'm bored, I'll post another cool picture i came accross a few weeks ago.
I'm 99% sure that's not a crab, It's an inlaw
that is bada$$
Limulus polyphemus (Horseshoe Crab?)
good job cbbr that what i thought it was but dident think that was a crab but a ray of some sort.
and that excavator looks badass indeed, i have a pic in a old popular mecanics of a back woods logging machen used for fire fighting (to cut the trees down for a fire brake) that had no wheels but 8 legs all controld by hydrolics very cool!!!
its a horseshoe crab. Most people only see them from above so they don't realize it.
this thing is looking more and more choped to me...
Its most certainly a chop, doesn't mean it isn't really cool
Somebody's been watching the "Wild, Wild West" movie too much.
I wanna ride/operate it!!!
I found out where the picture came from http://www.shiva.3dk.org/galery_3d/Traktor_en.htm
Looks kinda like a horseshoe crab, but the shell looks a little different. The sides aren't smooth and there is no long pointed tail. Maybe Ryoken or one of the 'shore folk might know better?
I really dont think it would be terribly difficult to build something like that. Just need several old POS rubbertires and one of those old john deere tractors you see rusting away in someones field. Hardest part would be finding a place for all the hydraulic lines.
That ain't a full-grown horseshoe crab. Might be a young-un, but it's not an adult.
L'il bastard's pretty evil looking...
Appears to be similar to a horseshoe crab, but a few differences:
1. No long, pointed tail.
2. Color is a little lighter than what I've seen at the Jersey shore.
3. The articulated "fins" down the sides are more pronounced than what I've seen at the Jersey shore.
Still neat, though.
not a horshoe crab, but whatever the hell it is, i wouldnt wanna mess with it.
Separate names with a comma.
