I put new IP in and new lift pump ran great home three weeks ago. I got rid of the stock filter set up went with a spin on and drop and cleaned tank. Now it wont start and yes I crack Injector lines. glow plugs r coming on but its 100 fdegees everyday still willnot start any idea????

ps I hit w/ether and it justslows cranking???

DO NOT use ether/starting fluid unless you have diabled the glow plugs!

I know you said you cracked the injector lines, but how much total time did you spend bleeding the fuel system after dropping the tank and changing the filter (had to have a ton of air in the system).

If it's cranking over really slow then the batteries are just likely weak (either need replaced or simply charged). The 6.2 is very finicky about requiring enough cranking speed to fire up.

are you getting unburnt fuel out of the tail pipes when you crank it? i doubt you bled the system well enough. i've had problems in the past where it's literally taken me a couple of days to get the damn thing right. i dread bleeding the fuel system.

You should have an air purge on your filter element. Have you cracked that to see if you are getting diesel to the filter?

just to check that the IP is working correctly, check out the setup I used in this thread....

at the very least you could bypass the air in the system to see that the IP is fine, and start the truck. with a gatoraid size bottle youre looking at about ten minutes of run time. you could even move it if necessary.

other than that, vent the air at the fuel filter, and keep cranking.
