That is one pissed off individual holding an SKS!
Yes indead, that is a 1953 Russian SKS in my hands.
Ain't I just a happy go lucky looking guy ???
Mutton chops, man I aint seen those in awhile, so what do I win???
Not mutton chops, my stash is thicker around the jaw line.
"What the heck is dat?"
That recoil pad is dope as fu@k
Your sholder will thank you for having one, LOL.
Hey Z, wanna play 300 yd tag???? Mine is older, Feb 1918.
This here's what I carry.
I like the 31 Moison Nagant-very good cartridge. I used to have a M2 Carbine(full auto, issued to Viet Rangers), but it got stolen. Nice assortment.
I can't see, pics are too dark.
Now that's what I'm talking about.
Thanks guys. To that collected you can add a Rock River Arms AR15. Need to get a new group shot.
My favorite is the Colt 1911. Circa 1947. Came with the Ace .22 conversion slide and all. My uncle passed it down to me. Estimated value of $3,000+. Def. a keeper!
Sweet guns!!! I have a crow bar my the door, does that count for anything???
Here's my SKS in it's original form... I liked it, but I wanted a Dragunov more... and Yugo SKS's are so damn cheap I didn't mind pulling it apart.
Here's what it looks like now... in all its splendor, I've only been able to get to the range ONCE since I did the conversion. I plan on getting a POSP 6x or 8x Russian scope on it this year before Thansgiving, but that has yet to be determined due to financial difficulties.
By the way... what's the deal with the recoil pad? You are bigger than me Z3PR, you shouldn't need that recoil pad for that little rifle. I can put down 100 round in a shooting session and not feel it the next day... it's when I shoot my shotguns that I feel the hurt in the morning. By the way, I can shoot it in either configuration (original or heavily modified) and barely feel the thing kick. I think I'll stop trying to mod my K5... just drive the damn thing, and start modding SKSs again.
Looks to Me like Gen. Burnside in sweats with an SKS
You guys got nothin, if you combine mine and my dad's collection I couldn't fit them in one picture.
My A-Bolt in .243 is my favorite. Light, no recoil, accurate to about 350 without wind. Once the wind picks up though it tosses that litle bullet all over the place.
