I sometimes hear it on other channels and was wondering if anybody knew what it was?
Is it right after someone gets done saying something ??? Could it be a "Rodger Beep" ???
No, its a constant beep beep beep, like a time tracking or something.
Oh, it was happening about 4 am my time and there was nobody talking at that time that I could hear.
I've never noticed but I'll check it out. Could it be someone sending out info? i.e. On my scanners when I'm listening to whatever I pickup lots of info transmitted in forms of morris code, sometimes in a fax machine sort of sound, some in extremely fast morris code, and sometimes in a random wha wha. Speaking of strange when Im in New Mexico or Arizona I pick a funny wha-wha that has a steady rythem on the upper am channels. It reminds me of the movie "Independence Day". What makes it so strange is that I never noticed it before the 9/11 tragedy.
Maybe someone has a repeater set up somewhere...
I havnt heard it in a while. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
