What year did the floor change?

Can use some help...I've been looking/searching for a couple of days and I can't find the thread. I posted over in the 73-91 this morning without much luck.

I have a line on a bolt in 6 point roll cage from an 81. It has been sitting outside and has a "A lot of surface rust." I haven't seen it yet.

What year(s) did the floor design change on the Blazer?

I have a 79 and I thought the floor by the back seat changed in 80 or 81. Anyone know or have a link to the thread?

From here, it looks like the floor went flat in the back in '78.

Thanks. I forgot about that listing. I was thinking (maybe mistakenly) that the floor changed one other time.

Could be, and the specs there aren't 100% correct.

But I do remember my '77 had the higher rear floor and I believe that was the last year for the high rear floor.

You are right. 77 had no leg room in the back and 78 do.

Yup 78 is the 1st year of the floor change
