Whatchya building for BB16?

If you've been doing some serious offroading, you probably smashed your springs and deformed your bushings. Buy a new set of springs+bushings+ the little spring washer and when you install it, put your old spring washer and the new one in (one on each end of the spring). This will put a little more tension on the bushing and help it last longer.

Finally got into looking at the leaking transfer case issue that kept me off of Fordyce.

4 bolts from the adapter to the transmission were really loose. I would call them backed out.

Easy fix. Just normal stuff to look over now.

What trails are you going to run?

Had the exact same thing happen a year or 2 ago. Might need to add that to my bolt checklist.

Drove my POS around the neighborhood with the kids this afternoon. New water pump, thermostat, power steering pump, battery and an oil change done. Need some grease in the driveshafts and put some body panels on.

Might even do a shake down run next weekend for giggles.

Need a new distributor, since they only seem to last 2 years on this thing, it's a known problem with this motor. And I'm going to replace the upper kingpin bushings to hopefully solve my death wobble. Me no likey shaky steering wheel.

I think I'm going to wax my truck this weekend! Installed new belts and charged my a/c today, it actually works fine. That means every single thing works on my blazer works except the windshield washer pump.

I'll be switching out my rear springs on the tahoe, has a saggy ass and sways on the highway.
