1/2 ton status
Just got done adding 3/4 ton axles with 4.10's and a detroit in the rear. I did the 13 bolt cover on the rear it has roughly the same clearance as the 14bsf that I had in it.
nope..its air bubble stuck in the block for sure..should have it beat tomorrow....I installed 3 bleed vents, cracked open every water connection/fitting on the entire truck except freeze plugs and plugged a garden hose in one heater hose with a back flush kit..turned it on and started tightening stuff back up while water flew everywhere..learned ALOT..what everyone whose looked at it (myself included) from day one thought was happening when it was getting filled... wasn't...never forget water takes the path of least resistance and unless you see it actually going to a spot don't assume it is. That thing has never been completely full of water. half full at most..but it looked and acted like it was totally full and moving water. The wrong water pump and other stuff for sure didn't help but the air bubble has been there all along. I had to "customize" one of the vents with some JB weld and tried it too soon..it didnt hold when it got to pressure cause the JB wasn't set all the way...so I'm letting it sit all night.
What's wrong with it?
How can a retiree not have enough time?

Sure does sound like a fuel pump problem huh?I replaced the fuel filter and hooked up a gauge. Pressure's OK when I first start up, but dies off after a few miles. A new pump should be here tomorrow.
Dead? The Jimmy is dead and I have no time.
