Well, the K5 is fine. the buggy, not so much. I should have it back together by BB, otherwise I won't be running the hard stuff (ie Prithcett- BFE).

Sexy, INDEED, and pricey. 1600 just for the case, add 300 for the bell housing, which only fits an 11 inch converter. The reason it broke? The chassis cracked at several welds in the motor mount area, allowing the motor to move way too much. The weakest point in that 5 foot drivetrain, yup, bye bye tailhousing. Flogging that chassis since for 9 years, and the trrans has been in there for 6 years. Re-welding and beefing up, and swapping guts to another 4x4 trans case.
After wheeling today. I have a little work to do. At the end of the day, I stuck the Jimmy into carnage canyon. Got past the gate keeper and wised up. During the backing out, I got stuck on a massive boulder. Tore the exhaust bad. May need a new slip yoke on the rear drive shaft. It was a great day otherwise.

200 feet worth. I had to winch twice today. Tripled how many times I've winched in 11 years.
