Whatchya building for BB17?

Daisy needs some interior work and a roof rack, the yota needs seat belts and shifter boots. Both are getting fluid changes also, engine, trans, cases, diffs, etc. Nothing too crazy.

Did a little work to Poco Loco beginning in March through mid-June. Many thanks got to ktmoutfront for help with design/production consulting, the sliders, cutting/bending the tubing, and getting the cage tacked into place. My wife and another friend designed and sewed the soft top. The first run will be in the Leadville, Colorado area at All4Fun July 31 through August 4, then Blazer Bash, followed by Chile Challenge in October.

I'm doing head gaskets on Ned starting this afternoon.

before I start, I have grand jury on this piece of human filth...

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...blame-for-horrific-rapes-says-gop-leader.html

Myself and 2 other guys were the primary officers dispatched on the 2nd attack in the parking garage. We chased him down and caught him. I searched his pockets after we caught him and found evidence tying him to both attacks.

Then I get to replace the head gaskets on Ned in 100+ degree heat during what is set to be the 3 hottest days record breaking days of the year...

It would just be nice to have a picture of last year's Jason Payne trophy winner......

Sorry you have to deal with either of those things. What a tragic POS story you have to deal with for work. It's very sad, I work with and have working for me some excellent men that do nothing but care for their families and jobs, however these piles of crap make it harder and harder for them to be here either by the legal means or not.

What's your indicators for head gaskets needing replaced?

The guy that posted before me and promised me an epic picture. :poo: Screen name starts with Blaz and ends with ooki

easy there Scott..I still have a month.

Brandon..it keeps holding insane pressure even after its cooled down..I let it sit for 2 days and it blew cold water 8 inches out the top of the radiator when I took the cap off.... I got stuck in court all day like I figured I might..so I didn't do anything on Ned yet...I called Eric like an hour ago and ran the whole thing by him. He thinks its an air bubble stuck in there somewhere. after bouncing it off him I agree. Tomorrow I'm gonna jack the back end up as high as I can get it and back fill it from the highest heater hose above the motor with a flush connection. then let it run with the hose still on and going..see if that changes anything

sounds like a bad cap, not heads

nope..its air bubble stuck in the block for sure..should have it beat tomorrow....I installed 3 bleed vents, cracked open every water connection/fitting on the entire truck except freeze plugs and plugged a garden hose in one heater hose with a back flush kit..turned it on and started tightening stuff back up while water flew everywhere..learned ALOT..what everyone whose looked at it (myself included) from day one thought was happening when it was getting filled... wasn't...never forget water takes the path of least resistance and unless you see it actually going to a spot don't assume it is. That thing has never been completely full of water. half full at most..but it looked and acted like it was totally full and moving water. The wrong water pump and other stuff for sure didn't help but the air bubble has been there all along. I had to "customize" one of the vents with some JB weld and tried it too soon..it didnt hold when it got to pressure cause the JB wasn't set all the way...so I'm letting it sit all night.
