surprised ya'll cut the roof off, just easier and not needed I suppose.

The roof had started to crack at the A and B posts on both sides, plus the outside skin had been dented - lots of popping and creaking. Yes, it was easier to do the full cage by removing the roof. So, it was time for Poco Loco to "evolve".

That is just the lowest part of the Jimmy that needs attention to be able to drive it. Figured I would start at the bottom and work my way up. Nothing is getting changed design or function wise. Just damage repair.

I expect to catch a ton of shit but this isn't my first BB....4 wheel parts shopping list nah....Its all from my place I run what I sell. I'll have another K5 one day but I'll rock the JK5 until I find the right one

I can tell I must be anxious for Blazer Bash. I keep checking CK5 every 30 minutes for build updates. Come on people, entertain me!

Man I'm going to miss this.

OK....OK......Here's your fix for the evening, from me.

I finally got the steering gear box ported for ram assist. I'm on call 24/7 and this week has been busy. Just got it installed after a 21 hour day.

I should be able to finish the complete install and test it by the end of Saturday. And as long as I don't get called in to work I'll work on the brakes.

I got new, longer brake lines to go with the extra lift. And going to put in the larger master cylinder.

Only thing left after that will be the roll cage. I ordered the DIY4X kit with grab handles and the two side bars for the back. The cage kit should be here soon and I will post pics of that process of the build also.

And...............I'm tired.
