Whatchya building for BB17?

Not to burst your bubble but you might end up with leaks from that brass. Never use brass in hyd unless a short term emergency. You might pay a little more for actual steel hyd fittings but its worth it. This might be low enough pressure though but I'm not sure.

OK....OK......Here's your fix for the evening, from me.

I finally got the steering gear box ported for ram assist. I'm on call 24/7 and this week has been busy. Just got it installed after a 21 hour day.

I should be able to finish the complete install and test it by the end of Saturday. And as long as I don't get called in to work I'll work on the brakes.

I got new, longer brake lines to go with the extra lift. And going to put in the larger master cylinder.

Only thing left after that will be the roll cage. I ordered the DIY4X kit with grab handles and the two side bars for the back. The cage kit should be here soon and I will post pics of that process of the build also.

And...............I'm tired.
I feel your pain, this was my on call week too. 33 ot hours since Monday

I have forever if I am gunning, got like 30 trucks in front of me.
I was thinking you'd run in the front or middle. I'll look for a gunner option. I'd like someone up front if I need to bug out for the BBQ prep.

I glanced at my Blazer this morning on the way to work. Thinking I should fix the starter my next day off, still hoping to make it this year.
I'm almost finished with all the house and yard repairs, BB is looking as more and more of a possibility.

Had someone working on the truck last 5 weeks. Found out he hasnt done anything so Im busting ass on it last minute and pushing the guy to help. Got a bit to go.

Found this little problem when swapping springs. I remember slapping a pair of springs in a while ago. It did this on both sides, shackles arent as bad. Didnt have time to change the bushings. Let this be a lesson, always change the bushings.

I'm still chasing crank position sensor gremlins. It's not hitting, I've verified that (which explains why I've never seen any evidence of it hitting). If anything it's too far away, I measured it at about .1" (minimum is .030"). Amber did a bit of googling and apparently any issues with wiring will kill them quickly like this. I looked at the plug and it was missing the seal so most likely got water in it and some corrosion... I replaced that and I'll have 3 spare sensors along with the new one that's installed.

I really hate doing all this troubleshooting on an engine I'm going to pull out in less than a year.
