Front pinion sprung a leak, even with a new seal. I shouldn't be surprised with the grove that was worn in the old one. Thought about sleeving it but found a new one online for reasonable money.

Except for when Ashman and I drove the stock blazer up pikes peak. I was sweating it. But we made it.

Power steering pump just went out on the Tahoe. Nothing like last minute fixes. And judging from this thread, it seems to be contagious.

Yep, leaving early Saturday morning. And I agree! Glade it happened here, and not in the middle of nowhere. Just makes for an even more hectic week to get ready.

I hadn't even driven the S-10 for 6 months, I've been beating/building on the Silverado.

The power steering system is a little whiny, but I have a spare pump and tools that will be coming with me if there are any issues.

I picked up some tires, so I'm good now. We head towards Moab on Friday as soon as we can get off work.
