I haven't wheeled mine yet, just got it a couple weeks ago, and getting it ready. I picked up a 14 bolt FF out of a suburban with 4.10's and am throwing in a Detroit. I've already geared the front 10 bolt to match and added a Lockright. Got some spare shafts for it. I plan on going to alloys in the 10 bolt, but I'll just run with spares for now, see how she does. I'm also getting ready to swap the 10 bolt to 8 lug to match the 14 bolt. Got all the parts, just waiting for the new wheels to come in.

The Jeepster is still in build mode so I voted using my stock '87 3/4 Sub.10 bolt front ans SF 14 bolt both with 4:10 gears I believe.I have extra FF14 bolt with 4:56 gears and a set of 4:56 gears for the 10 bolt. That might find thier way in someday.

Just got my drive flanges and installed my 35 spline outers! Cant afford to go wheeling right now but im really anxious. Ive had my 1ton set up for 3-4 years. what did every one pay for there 60? got mine for $600

You left off 10b/14SF...

I should have put an "other" option instead of one of the choices. I know the the biggest thing I left off was an ending date...In two months, this thing will be two years old.

I am surprised at the number of D60's. On that note, if I see another person posting up that they got a D60 for some ridiculously low price....I'm setting fire to my truck and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over the open flame.

On that note, someone paid me $300 to buy their dana 60 :D

hey wheres the rockwell voting option?

bought two fronts and two rears for 150 bucks a piece.

350/465/205 twin stick 32 spline and 1410s.

im runnin 2.5 tons with overson spools front and rear under a 91 truggy. they are badass and i dont think anything else would stand up to the abuse i give but........................................ believe me you can break em with nothin but a tbi 350. broke a drivers side outer saturday.

D44 Front with 4.88 and an selectable OX Locker and crossover. The rear is a 12-bolt with a full Detoit and 4.88's

I think they have cromo axles, just haven't verified.

1983 chevrolet shortbed, 1974 350 .040 over, Dana 60 456 gears welded , 14 bolt 456 gears, detroit locker, 1980 465, 205 combo, 8inch superlift, 37 tsls........The welded d60 makes it unstoppable but it doesnt steer so well, in the process of changing it to detroit and crossover after the holidays.... The m1008 6.2, dana 44, 14b open, 4:10s, th400, 208, 4inch rancho, 35bfg mudds.

does semi built count?

60 front detroit/5.13's 14 bolt discs, detroit/5.13's diy razorbacks x2

ive only had two outings with the new gear but they freakin rock!

72 truck with 82 one ton running gear

I took the running gear from a 1982 one ton 4x4 pick up dana 60 front and corporate 14 rear with 4 wheel disc breaks and the hydraulic break boster and insalled the system on my 1972 short box half ton pickup. I added steel braded break lines and an eaton posi in the rear, a detriot locker in the front. A 4 inch all spring custom lift. It will stop on a dime and it will go anywhere!

The best upgrade I have ever done! Go big or go home in the axle department! It was not difficult except for the steering trick was a change to a 1972 2wd steering box to get arm drop for the above the spring cross over steering. I used a steering arm from a Jeep dana 44 lift kit. I broke three dana 44 front ends before this change over. That is my axle story :)
