I don't run anything except my stock axles in my 94 chevy. Only thing running and i run 35" MTZ's now. waiting for a pop any day :doah:

I vote naked cause everything that's solid axle is broke in one way or another

BTW that Army truck contraption is what i want to freaking build :waytogo:

That too much for a 44.

It happened over time, not all in one shot.It used to be my DD so I built it as I got money.

"Too much " is a relative tern.To me it was money well spent.I had the money and I still got to wheel it between mods.I have never missed a trip or a complete season of wheelin because my junk was down waiting for something.I wasnt gonna sit around and not wheel while saving up $3k to build a 60 :p:

And for those running stock 10 bolt/Dana 44 shafts that want more from their front shafts but dont want to drop coin on chromo stuff :D

Grind or machine your stock shafts for full circle snap rings and run Spicer 5-760x joints. Most stock shaft failures I have seen in the joint area are due to the half clips comming out,the cap falling out,and in turn pulling the ears outa the shaft....

I've had good luck with that setup for a few years on a locked 28-spline 10b.

I need to vote twice, then I could vote naked and one ton

the wheeler pickup is one tonned, 60 and a 14b ff both with detroits

the new blazer project will be a 14b sf rear and a 10 bolt front with the later shafts

Just step up.

Its cheaper in the long run. I did the 44 thing for ever cause my x was a money whore and kept me broke for a long time. Once that pile of poo left i realized i could afford to build a 60.
I joined the 60 club in 05 and have not feard anything since. The price was a shock. I have about 5000 in mine but it was so worth it. That was doing all the work myself.
