whats your daily driver

This is what I have to drive daily...only vehicle I have registered now..

If I had my way,I'd have at least 2 on the road..

It's not an ideal grocery getter, with not much cab space, nor is it a great long distance driver, but it is better than walking, and I only have to buy enough food for me and my cat,and it sure beats using a snowblower or shovel to clear the driveway ..gets around 17.5 mpg out of the 6.2 diesel, empty, full,it don't matter..

The picture makes it look a lot better than it does --it was taken 12 years ago when I first got it...its much rustier and has more dents now..:(

Proud to say that my K5 is my daily driver. Gets good enough mileage, a/c works, and it's super fun. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

I basically daily drive 4 trucks, depending on what I'm doing. My '06 is generally my personal driver with occasional heavy towing, my 01 is my "work" daily and does a majority of my towing, my 97 F450 is for when I have heavy equipment running and am doing mechanic/service, and my flatbed F350 for general farm hauling, etc.

My K5 is far from DD use, it's my Sunday funday truck.

My '88 Blazer (freshly rebuilt) was my daily from 2001-2007. I had to get something more reasonable for work after that. I currently DD a 2011 duramax. I also have an '09 Ninja (don't laugh) 250 that I commute with occasionally when the weather is nice. Yeah she's small, but it's actually a lot of fun in the city.

I DDed a K5 from 95-01. Once I started working in Atlanta I switched to a series of different cars. I've been driving this 03 BMW 530i for the past 5+ years.

Good looking bmw you got there, actually really like bmw's, just don't care for there owners for the most part, but you are a k5guy,so we are ok

Curious how the hell you guys afford to drive these big a@# trucks daily? I am married with 1 kid and one here in 2 weeks.

My commute is about 9 miles each way, and the newer pick-ups are pretty decent on fuel. I DD'd a little E36 bimmer for about a year and a half...but find that a bit scary. Around here the vast majority drive 4x4 CC pick-ups, and in the bimmer I felt like a rolling speed bump. I did two Edmonton winters with it, and I only ever got stuck once...60 feet from our driveway. Still, it's nice to have 4WD here, as well as a bit more sheet metal between me and the other crazies...

There certainly is a reputation. Rene & I are trying to change it:waytogo:

01 Acura CL usually however I'll drive the 97 2dr Tahoe or the 02 Z71 Tahoe on occasion. 4 mile commute to work so it really doesn't matter much what I drive.

2010 impala w/3.5 v6 for the most part. In the summer I try and rotate the fleet through DD duty.

My 89 Burb is my daily driver, I usually rotate one of my other cars in one day per week but the Burb is my go to rig for sure.

My bone stock 1990 K5 Jimmy is my DD. I work about 5 miles from home. I drive my 2015 Challenger RT Scat Pack on the weekends.
