Wasn't these an LS1 (with multipoint distrib. on front of engine)? How were you able to put a carb on it? Can you post pic's!

9 mpg with or without trailer...... on or off road/ freeway..... without my top I got better gas milage
caprice through 93 was a regular old Gen 1 SBC (w/TBI), then, in 94(till 96) they went to a LT1, with the optispark distrubutor in front(just so you know, all it take to carb a LT1 is the correct intake(gm performance parts) , a carb, and a old school HEI distributor)

I get around 17-18 around town and 22 HWY :D :D

I love my diesel especially with gas prices now..

Got to be easier on the LOUD PEDAL . My carb is all messed up and 10 mpg would be pshing it half the way. Need a new Carb. Quadra bog just isn't cutting it with cam and lifters and minor porting. :D I have an edelbrock 600 but it needs to be rebuilt. Should do that I guess and try it.
