I want to fix my caster angle wich is now at 9.4 degrees. Where can i find a cheap shim to fix this problem and solve my death wobble for good. I am looking for a 7 degree shim.

Also if my angle is 9.4 now, and i want it to be 2.4 by adding a 7 degree shim, do i put the small part of the wedge up front in in the back?

THanks

I just made a couple set for myself. Do you know anyone that is a machinist? Doesn't take too long to do. I'm making another set next week maybe I can do one for you also /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif.

I saw some cheap shims on a bronco at a truck and car show--the guy simply cut a peice of an old leaf spring off near its tapered end,and drilled a hole in it for the center bolt.Dont know if its a good way to go--but it seemed to work for him. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

azkickin is kinda pricet i think i will juist stick with the ones i found

thanks guys.

oh and to i put the fat part of the wedge faceing the front or the rear if im trying to reduce my pinion angle. my guess would be toward the rear

the azkickin come with a center pin bolt and the JWK do not. plus you get a discount from azkickin for being a CK5 member.

the fat end in gonna bring that side down. if you put it of the rear, its gonna tilt the front up and the rear down.

if you want one end of the axle to tilt up, fat part of the shim goes on the opposite side.

are you putting these on the front or rear axle? i know you said u want to fix the caster but i think you mean on the rear, which is not caster, just pinion angle
