no selling in here Wes...you know better.

Rene
I figured someone would say something.

What can I do now since he's not a paying member? Can't send a PM. How do I get my price across to him?

Well what do you know? I sent him a PM! And it went thru! Is this a new feature that non-paying members can send and receive PM's?

Listen i'm a poor college student with a disabled vietnam vet father who's unable to work.

I have to save money just to drive my K10 every couple weeks.

Sorry i'm not a paying member, but you guys need to be more understanding.

Yes, new feature. the inbox is extremely limited though...but at least it's possible now.

Well, you gots to pay to play. The rules are no selling/buying in the Garage, as there are forums for the paying members to do so in. CK5's gotta have some incentive to get us to pay =))

In any event, is it just me, or a six inch block scary? I know a shackle flip costs more, but if one of those blocks pops out, the cost to extract your truck from wherever it ends up (be it on the trail or on the highway) and tow it home, never mind fix it ... well, that cost is a far sight more than doing it right.

Anyway, that's my .02 on both issues. Worth at least that, if not less.

Not to mention that the driveshaft will almost certainly bind and break the u-joint and yoke and then destroy things in its path.

If you can keep the blocks from spitting out they work ok and just cause more axle wrap and wheel hop.

If they find their way out they will cost you WAY more than doing it right the first time.

Coke cans would be better I think. They're only 5" but they're damn cheap! :waytogo:

I understand where you're coming from but you gotta understand our stance, too, where we buy parts with our money and later down the road decide we don't need them anymore. This doesn't mean we're gonna give the parts away for next to nothing. As the quote above said, "you gotta pay to play".

Sho nuff ... I've sold off a bunch of my old stuff here, at greatly discounted prices, to those folks who can look in the for-sale/wanted forums. (Which, come to think, is everybody, last I checked ... the bluebies just can't post.)
