Where to buy a new tailgate?

I need to buy a new tailgate for my 1991 k5 Jimmy and was wonder were would be the best place? I was told LMC truck is the best. Maybe there is another place better that I am not aware of. Thanks for any help

Why new? Classified section on here would probably be the best bet to pickup a good used gate if you can't find one at the junkyard.

Well I am not a CK5 membership so I can't do the classified section. If someone had one and I was ready to buy I would do a deal. My tailgate inside is rusted to hell and does not hold glass anymore. I had to make a plexiglass window just so it would keep the rain out. So I need a completely new tailgate so I can get a working window. So that is why I was looking at an LMC truck type place.

Personally, I'd spend the $25 here to become a member. Looks like to LMC it would be around $500 + depending on what little stuff you need.

Wouldn't think it would be too hard to locate a good used one for $100 or so in my neck of the woods(not sure what they go for in the northeast), and its not reproduction Chinese crap. I doubt anybody makes them stateside these days.

Some people don't like paying to join. Helps keep the rifraff out though.

I bought one for my old K5 from www.jcwhitney.com , it was really nice and right around $200.00. I know this was 4-5 years ago, but it's worth a look !!!

Got mine at a swap meet for $50.Came complete with power glass window.
