So Napa and Schucks have no listing for a wiper/washer switch.

Basicly the 2-wire washer connector corroded off the pump, so I went to the 11515 Trico pump which cancels out the cam style pump and uses a regular electric pump in the original housing. So I push the button once to activate it and check the spray, and the pump runs for a solid 10 seconds, stops, then the wipers come on.

Sounds to me like a short in the switch, no biggie it's probably original.

But where can I find one? Short of spending $70 at LMC?

You could try hitting the junkyards. Or check the classifieds.

Is this for the 77 in your sig? I may have one laying around.

Edit: I just saw your location...I don't exactly know how many junkyards are in Alaska.

Yeah the junkyards are hit and miss. Most vintage stuff is picked clean. Took me 3 weeks to find a decent back seat! :eek1: Is that an intermittent switch? It's obviously a variable speed motor, but the rotary knob make the think it's intermittent.

Yes, it is for a 77. LMC seems to be the only choice for a new switch ?

I believe the arrow indicates it's a delay mechanism, not just the slow/high speed setup.

All had wash I believe, which was push against spring pressure to the left.

Factory delay in a 77?

It is a Cheyenne with the original trim package

Finally took a crap. So, would I be correct in believing the arrow on said switch means this is an intermittent set-up? The switch has worked properly, but the end of cycle signal hasn't, damn wipers cycle way too much before they shut off.

Any leads on these? Junkyards are helpless and from what I've read, these style switches ran 75-77.

77, tilt wheel

just bought a 79 parts truck, will look to see if its still there and in one peice. if it is, you pay shipping, yours for free

There's a thread floating around that breaks down the install/wiring aspect of the 78-83 wiper/switch/motor etc..For the life of me I can't find it....
