i would like to put spicer Ujoints in my truck, but after getting the price from my local place i'm not sure if i am getting ripped or what
28$ per joint. is that good or bad? that is my "cost" as i am a business.
i could get Napa joints, for almost half that, but isn't spicer better?
anyonline places?

I have only used Napa joints once, and they said spicer on them. Maybe it was just that one set, but you might want to open the box and check.

it will be a 10bolt under a '90....assuming its still the factory axle and hasnt been swapped out for something else:grin:

what series is the joint and is it greasable or solid. the spicer life solid stuff can run around $23-$25 just an FYI but the greasable stuff is $9-$13.
neapco(mostly what advance carries) is turning pretty bad most joints we get now have serious side to side play in the cap like the trunion is too small the cap will rock around on the trunion. FWIW

I get my Spicer joints at Napa. You have to ask for Spicer and they may have to order it. I paid $22-24 for a Spicer 760x ujoint. That is about they best you can find.

i got some el cheapo brut force ones in my burban. are those any good? havent wheeled it hard and dont really plan to since i got the blazer for that.

Brute Force are nongreaseable Neapco's and are probably the next best thing to Spicer 760's. I believe that the Spicers are worth the extra $10 though. Now that my truck see's some decent trails I am going to use only 760's because they are stronger and last longer. I have had a Brute Force in my longside axleshaft for about 8 months now and it has held up fine sofar on some hard trails but when I take the frontend apart next it is getting replaced with a 760.
