I was looking at online inventory for a 70's Ford truck and it seemed Stockton had the most. I've been to San Jose North and Newark and they were just ok. Haven't been to Oakland but they didn't list that many trucks.

I can check the san jose (central) monterey location for ya. What are you looking for?

Newark has CRAP load of trucks but not sure how many are Fords. I was just there last weekend. Whatcha looking for?

1/2 price sale all weekend. Got some stuff out of suburbans today. Now is the time to go.

Mosslanding PNP (Monterey county) is not the best in Nor Cal but the almost always have what im looking for.

pics of the PNP?? Im going this week to grab me some 56" springs il snap some pics if you want. anyone looking for anything specificly?? i can take a look

All we have is rusted out shi#boxes here, would be nice to see some Junk from out west. I do need some working 2nd row seat belts fo my Burb, tan would be nice, but any will do.

How exactly does a PNP work. Do you have to pay to go in? or just for the parts you buy?

They do charge you a arm and a leg for most parts though. Axles are fairly cheap but seats, belts, brackets, trim or any little things are way to expensive. You an usualy haggle with them on most parts though

everything is pretty spendy...

Truck axles are around 300 after core/fee whatever.

Most things you would think are cheap are around 20 bucks... They wanted 75 for an hei dist.

Either put in in your pocket, or throw it over the fence is the motto around here:haha:

I've got to pick up a bunch of smog parts that would have come on a 70's 460 in California. I have found a few items on LMC and there is a guy on Ford Truck Enthusiasts that is turning me on to various dealers and shops around the country who have osbolete parts in stock. Went down to two PNP's in San Jose and found a couple of air cleaners which was good. Newark didn't have anything a while back but I may check again. According to the website, Stockton has a butt load of 70's Fords though.

the one in san jose off monterey is usually crap. its 95% just lil beat ass hondas.
the newark one is the best out of the ones i've been to. but someone told me there was one out in the valley that would blow the crap outta all of the bay area ones. havent found it yet.

and yeah, they are def. over priced for most things, like seats and trim pieces. but if you find a guy taht doesnt know the tru value of truck parts, it usually is fairly cheap...-ish.

Don't take parts off a truck then tell the guy it came from a truck. :doah: Everything for a car is usually cheaper than a truck. Also I guess I must not have ever bought anything that was expensive from them as everything i've bought was reasonably priced. Sometimes I just need a couple odd bolts or small brackets and the Newark store just says "that's it" and to just leave without charging me for anything.

Agreed. Most of the time or the little trinket type **** they don't even care. It jar depeds on who you get. Sometimes they're picky as hell

.

You probably mean the Stockton one. When I checked their truck inventory it was huge. A side bonus though to checking out the Monterey Rd. one was the entertainment value of some ageing crack whore asking me if I wanted a date as I parked in the lot right next to the sidewalk. I guess I must be getting old and looking desperate.....
