I just moved to Texas from Chicago. "Ya'll" talk funny! LOL! Anyway, I moved to Stephenville, TX to go to the college they have here. I drive a Jeep (sorry) and it broke down about 10 miles outside of town. It threw a belt. I had a few tools with me and I went to go look for the belt. I found it. It was in bad shape. So, there I sit with the hood open and outside in 100 degree weather. Several cars and trucks drove by (some of the trucks smelled like cow $hit). And a blazer drove by. I wait for another 10, 15 minutes, and the blazer was coming back to town and pulled to the side to offer assistance. It's a blue and white blazer with a white hood and a lift. It had "Built, not bought" and in small letteres "Coloradok5.com" on the winsheild. Pretty decent little blazer. Dwarfed my little Jeep! LOL!! Anyway, this girl hops out. My heart is fluttering! She is HOT!!!! I mean HOT!!!! She asked if I needed a ride or anything (sweet Texas accent.....okay, I'll admit, I'm in love! But wouldn't you be too if you saw a hot girl in a big truck?). Anyway, I introduce myself. She said her name is Laura. So, I told her I needed a belt. She said(I'll try to type her accent), "Alright, I'll give ya a ride to the parts house and a ride back. I've got a few tools too if ya need'em." "Cool," I said. So, I jump in the blazer (big sucker) and we're off. I need to say this, I am very surprised with how roomy blazer's are. And comfortable!!! So, we go up to NAPA and I meet a few cool guys there. One of which is her husband (DAMNIT!). I hand him a belt (or what's left of one) and he got me a new one and she drove me out there. So, there she is right under the hood with me helping me tighten this belt. I fire up the "heep" (as she affectionatly called it) and she followed me in. I just thought "Man! What nice people. In Chicago, nobody would pull over and help like that. So, anyway....who was it that I met? And sorry about calling you "hot" too. I hope you're not offended. But if you ever break up with your husband, let me know! LOL!!!
