I'm looking for an inexpensive header for my K5. I was wondering who is running these on their square body GM and how they do? I'll have to build new head pipes for it, but that's not a big deal. Any input is welcome, but I'd rather have shorty headers. Thanks!

i had the cheapest flowtech full lengths and the bolt holes didnt line up. i had to cut the flanges to make it work because i had to get the truck goin that weekend cuz it was the only vehicle i had at the time. but im curious on how these will fit. im goin to be lookin for some shorty headers when i get my engine back in.

Got dang near the same ones on my 97 Sierra. They seem to fit quite well, I do however have a couple leaks. One from a broken manifold bolt and the other a small collector leak on the same side. That bein said they dont really bother me.

Ive got cheap flowtechs on both my trucks. They are long tubes but I didnt have any problems with misaligned bolt holes.

For leaks and loose header bolts try running a set of factory manifold gaskets instead of the header gaskets. Not only are they cheaper but I have not had a leak or loose bolt since I put them on 5 years ago.

Well, I ordered a set of the 11504FLTs today. Buddy called and said he had a $50 off a $100+ order from Advance that expired today and said he thought I could get some use out of it. Figured if I was getting them for $90 instead of $140 they'd be worth a shot. If they don't do what I need, they should fit my Dad's 1993 K1500. :waytogo: Guess we'll see how it goes!
