I was curious who welded up thier front Dana 60 spiders and how it works, longeivity, durability, etc. I was thinking about doing it because I have an open carrier, and 4.10's and in a few months I am going to go 4.88's with an ARB. So I dont relly care about runining the carrier etc. Thanks!

I did it to my brother's 44. good luck steering! he had to unlock a hub before he could do anything but go straight. it works bitchen and we beat on it quite a bit, but nothing like having to unlock to turn. it sucked.

Well if you welded the front and rear, I can see turning being a problem but if you just locked the rear would it be that big of an issue?? I don't actually know. Just wondering.
