My 89 Sub didn't have a front or rear bar on it when I got it a few months ago. The suspension is so stiff that the body roll isn't too bad, and the the ride will knock your teeth out. With the 8" front and 5.5" springs I can't imagine that it flexes much, although I haven't been in anything too gnarly to verify that. I've been having some weird noises coming from the front end, but I've finally figured out the problem(easy, free fix) and plan to wheel the piss out of it now. Does not having any swaybars improve flex a noticeable amount amount?

I removed my sway bar from my burb and K5.

some came with sway bars i think..when i got my truck it didn't have any, then a d44 i bought had one but that came off quick. im pretty sure the sway bar takes away from flex.

Find my latest thread about SWAY BARS> I just yanked mine and yes the ride will improve and so will the flex. If youve got stiff springs, body roll will be minimal, these are trucks after all, not race cars. ;) .

swaybar

yes taking your sway bar will improve flex and mine is off too. though now im used to driving with out it i actually like driving around town with it in. and dont throw it away cause im sure you will change suspensions and if you do you will want it or it will be a scary ride. but for out in the woods or where ever you are its better with it out

for mine i gotta keep the swaybar up front the suspension is too soft, Oh well disconects for offroadin then i am all set.
