I have one. Its behind my '01 5.3L and I have the NP241.
Are you running a computer controlled 350? I only did it because I was running a 5.3L and I didn't have to buy a standalone computer just for the 4L80E.
Plus I got the trans for $500.00
I have had a few 4l80 . 1 was in my old 2wd crew cab with 350 . was a 96 truck . did great with anything I tossed at it .
then I swapped 1 in a 88c2500ld I had that was a bad 700r4 . ran that for a few years no problems . its currently sitting in STUBBY waiting to run again .
also these seem to be the guys for best standalone . few guys here have the unit and love it . http://www.usshift.com/index.shtml
and for 4wd check my build thread for some ideas and info . http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=253000
ya we do your 60 up easy . my shop is set up now these days since I moved in back in nov .
I might now a guy with a 14ff 4.56/Detroit. I got to catch up with him anyway .
tell me about snow . I drive tow truck and I got a lot of seat time this season in my plow truck making way for our trucks to get there and work and get out .
good luck on treatments !
let me know when your ready .
I got shop lift / engine hoist to pick it up and work with it .
Who is running a 4L80 and behind what with which transfer case?
I've got a 4l80e between a 5.3L and an NP241. i'm running a trail-tech fab adapter between the trans and t-case with the case clocked flat. mounted on a home made crossmember.

I have a 4L80e between a 6.2 diesel and NP241 (i do have a 203/205 doubler ready to drop in, though)
fyi t400 to 4l80-e only gets you overdrive and lockup .
same 1-2-3-r ratios inside.
not like a 700r4 low 1st .
