This guard was on my truck when I got it. On a dana 44.
I’ve been web wheeling since the biggest tire in magazine ads were 17x40 Gumbos and I’ve never seen a skid like that.
Smack it good and it interferes with the tie rod.
yup I bet it would, probably why no one make anything like it any more
it's very good at catching everything I drop

Never seen anything like this and I have been in the wheeling world since early late 80s
Must be one of a kind, I'm going to add to the list of guys who have been looking at aftermarket stuff since the mid-80's and have never seen anything like it.
Well sometime soon I will be removing it to do axle work. I'll clean it up and look for a name.
