Just brought home a stock 69 K5.
A few dings here and there and a rocker that needs replaced but it is in realy good shape, just needs cleaned up a bit.
Also included in the deal is a 72 K5 rolling chassis with a new 6" superlift front and rear spring lift, a new set of 39.5 TSL's, Warn winch and bumper, a new windsheild and another set of doors, a 4.56 D70 rear axle and a bunch of other goodies.
Just gotta drop in an engine and it's mobile.
It's all good. :cool1:
It looks like I have a hobby again. :D

Sounds like a good score!

Congrats!!--The 69 is the first year for a K5--pretty rare I bet!--sounds like you will be busy this summer!--wish I could find a rust free first generation K5 someday--I had 3 of them in years past--kick myself for not keeping at least one of them, but they were pretty rusted by the time I sold them...:frown1:

That 69 might have drum brakes in front, and a closed knuckle front end if its still got the original axle...

It's got an open knuckle front axle, most likely it was swapped out.
465/205 powertrain too.:D
Oh I paid $2300 for everything.
