Who's running tractor tires??

Went to a local 4x4 club swap meet and found what I thought was a sweet tire for the woods. It was 45.5" tall 16.5" wide and went on a 16.1(?) wheel. It was the very agressive "rice tread" and it could be forced onto a 16"
wheel with a little starting fluid. Now the bad part , when I tried to stand one of these mothers up and it just laughed at me :haha: . I then asked the dude that was selling them " just how heavy are these ?" he said four on a skid where around 1200 lbs. WoW , thats like 280 lbs a tire :eek1: I don't think a very built drivetrain could live with those.

I think on the plus side you could run them on a light rig with no psi. in the tires as they looked to have like 30 ply sidewall :haha: and the fact that they where forced onto the wheel you'd never loose a bead!

In a nutshell, go with Boggers !

I wasted my time looking into tractor tires , IMO !

Custom wheels. Big bucks in this here setup. That's like a 24" rim and tractor tire.

You worked on that truck kert, me and my buddys saw that up at okoboji driving around...kinda funny how when it went by they all looked and me and told me no :haha:
where is that guy from anyway, ive seen it clear down by my hometown of early on that trailer. In okoboji it was actaully driving around on the streets, with the tractor tires, i dont think it had your rims on it then though

yeah, did the beadlocks for him. Not exactly sure what town it is he's from but in the Spencer area.

The beadlocks were done not more than a month ago.
