And more importantly who makes that bumber?

I've searched for over an hour now and can't find who's truck this is. I saved the pic to my hard drive.

I could be buying a winch in the near future and I like this bumper.

No that's actually a 4WD Metal Works bumper, and they are in businness BUT (I don't know if he would want me to give out a price quote so I will just say...) you could buy a whole blazer for what that bumper costs

The metal work on the bumper is easy enough. I am going to a local metal shop to pick up stuff for my next project friday or saturday. If you are interested let me know and I will get a price for metal and labor to build it. If the metal is about 1/8 inch thick everywhere except the winch mounts its only about $2-250. If it is all 1/4 inch plate or thicker everywhere it would get closer to 5-600.
The lights and rollers are all separate. But could be added easily.

The labor is basically the same regardles of the metal thickness, but as metal gets heavier it gets much more expensive, and wears the tools faster. It also makes the shipping cost climb. I unfortunately live in NJ.

I am building my own rear step bumper now out of 5/16 x4 and I am told its way overkill. Its only half done but its getting a little heavy.

Unfortunately thick metal gets sort of expensive around here but if there is interest for overbuilt bumpers I will get some real price quotes for you and can build to most custom specs.

In all fairness I looked into "offroad bumpers" a few times on Ebay and other sites. Every now and then you run across something that LOOKS heavy duty for $150-200. I assume they are made in china where metal and labor are cheap, and do not know how thick the metal really is on those, but at least near me the metal alone costs that much for raw stock with out doing any cutting or welding.

i think it's Steve Kibbe's blazer

or someone he knows

Its Joe Stewarts Blazer, He's the owner of 4wd metal works. The bumpers are expensive, I'll be the second to tell ya, Joe will be the first!! To have a high quality product, you have to take the time and money necessary to do so. That said, who would go buy a kia for $8000, or buy the "Same" car by honda, toyota, chevy, ford............but pay more for it. There is a reason for the price being where it is.

Steve
