I think that is the same top I have. Mine is a Kayline SnapTop... I think this was the older model top they made before they came out with the FastTrac.

Probably a custom build but possibly an older unit built by Burt. I have one that is a bolt on I am considering getting rid of though.

How did you mount the spare. I like the stinger types but need to get into the back of my Jimmy. I'm not real fond of the type that mount on the tailgate as I've seen what happens when someone runs into them (lots of tgate damage). Any old pictures (close ups)??

the tire is bolted to the frame with just 1/2x6 bolts. That way you can take the nuts off then slide off the bolts. the framing its bolted to is on a spindle from ORD. that is welded to bumper. When you make the framiong for the tire, use 2" square. I used 11/2" and its got too much flex.
