Probably was saved by becoming high-centered and had low speed .

no just revving it backing up.
friggen f-550, with dule winchs on the boom, to pull me out
lol I was saying that because gosh thats alot of blue smoke. guess an injector gasket on it was goin a lil south?
wouldn't it be black smoke from un burned diesel fuel?
its a ford, beter NOT to undersatnd.
white is unburned fuel
Not on a diesel, its black, I worked at a ford dealership for over a year and half in highschool. The 6.0s which is what that truck is blow injectors like crazy. You will always get some oil in the combustion chamber while changing them out. Just imagine how much smoke they throw out when being cranked up for the first time, after all the injectors were replaced, with all the bay doors closed in the winter. The exhuast fans couldn't keep up.
only under load, will it be black, cold moter, like in the mornings it is white.
Look at the windows too...looks like it sat their over night or somethin.
If it sat there over night they are lucky some dumb heep didnt end up hitting it and following it down the cliff lol.
When I first glanced at the thread title, I thought it said "why blazers are better than herpes..." I was thinking "well ....yea"
Are you talking about condensation? Ive never seen that much come out of an exhaust at one time, but then again its 20 degrees here in the morning and its always humid.
yeah that was a spring morning in canada, and yeah it is a LOT, must be out of tune, or just a ford thing
Agreed, those 6.0s do that on cold mornings, along with making a lot of bad sounding clacking noise hah
Yeah, the windchill was -22 here today. You shoulda heard that MF'er start after it'd been sitting for 8 hours. It sounded so anemic and ****ty I thought there was actually something wrong with it (other than being a 6.0)
