A guy i know wants one real bad. Has cash in hand if someone has one. talked with a few guys and knowone has even seen one. any ideas where to get one??

Why cant i find a 6.2 4spd??

The 4 spd is the same, the only difference is the flywheel.

i mean a 6.2 with a sm465, real hard time finding one. no idea why looked all over.
Easier to 'make' one than find one IMO...

i thought diesels never came with 4spds? that was i had always thought

Yup, I don't think they had themn in any K5 but they had them in pickup trucks, I got mine from a C30

That looks like the way i am going. just need to find a parts truck.

Well you don't need a parts truck the 4 spd is the same you can get for $100-150 anytime, the pedals the same I sold sets for $50 for the hydro, the non hydro are cheaper, then the flywheel and clutch I would buy those new now, they are cheaper, $125 for the flywheel and $100 for a clutch.

OK looking for a k5. found a whole truck. going to try to pick it up
Just so you know the 6.2 K5's never got a 4 speed manual...the SM 465 only came behind the 6.2's in 3/4 ton and one ton pick-ups.
