winaldl diagnostic help for stumble --- Fixed

High idle

So I guess the IAC is worn out. As the Datalogs say it is changing values and adjusting but there is still no high idle and it has been kind of sketchy on that in the past one time it high idles and the next not. I took it out and cleaned it set minimum air and reset the ECM and no love so I guess a new IAC is in order unless there is some other way to check for IAC function.

So today I swapped out the stock TB with the newer xtremefi 46mm overbore TB. I did that cause when I set the minimum idle on the factory TB it started a vacuum leak down the throttle shaft, and I was like to heck with that.
But when I took the IAC off the old TB it was all the way out or seated in the TB. So I cleaned it up and put it back in a little. When I got ready to set minimum air I looked down inside and did not see the pinticle with the AB wires in the ALDL connector jumped waited like 2 minutes and nothing. So I unplugged it and took it off. plugged it in and nothing it made noise but no movement unless I pushed down on the pinticle. So I got a new one at Autozone and it works. Also tried to pull vacuum on the EGR that I got 2 years ago from Autozone. nothing nada would not hold anything. So I pulled out the factory one that I kept for who knows what and bingo went up the 15 in of vaccuum. It doesn't hold it really well but I don't have a $100 right now to replace it. So I put the old factory one on in place of the AZ EGR for now. Reset the TV cable too and the truck has some zip back. Have to see how the high idle is in the morning but I bet its better.

Truck has high idle again and runs really well. But it still has a the stumble however today it did not die dang code 42 again so I will pull the ignition module and test it soon

It is Fixed! I pulled the ignition module out and took it to AutoZone to test it, and it is fine they tested it 10 times for me. So I thought crap now I am really lost. I bought some -heat sink compound from Radio Shack to remount the ignition control module. Cleaned the old compound off, and found the pick up coil metal prongs on the ignition module are oxidized. I cleaned them and all the connectors. Then as I put it all together I re-routed all the coil power and signal wires far away from the spark plug wires and re-arranged them so they were further away from the coil.

And thats it no codes no stumbles.
