I am looking for a rear 4" shackle flip for my '85 jimmy I have heard about 4 brands and i was wondering what you guys think on each one. pros and cons that kind of stuff.

Thanks any help is apriceated

:haha:

Well, I went with ORD on this one, just because I love their products, although DIY makes 'em really beefy along with really nice shackles and great customer service. So if I could I'd vote for both ORD and DIY.

i just bought an exteeme offroad shackle flip for the blazer from hoodrch...thing looks great...i also bought a ord shackle flip from 79k20350 and i havnt got that one yet...i would say get what ever is in the classified you can pick up for a good price...just my .02...oh and i voted diy4x cause i talked to kert the other day and he was a hella nice guy...hes also a member on here to...
here is what i bought from him with the shackles...

I have an ORD. nothing wrong with it. when I bought it I didn't know of CK5. If I had to do it over again I would go with DIY4X. the ability to tune the shackle length is great. I have yet to buy anything from him but his customer service so far has surpassed ORD.

Ya i was also leaning towards DIY4x i have heard alot about the great customer service and the beefy parts. I think ill give them a call

I picked DIY4X because they look beefy as hell as well as Kert will customize them pretty much any way you want.

That's who I'm going with.

DIY4x. Great products and Kert's customer service is top notch.

when I bought mine ORD was the only one making them. The only one except for the home brewed variety. I like them and would buy them again.

I voted for DIY4X even though i own an ORD flip. ORD was the only option when i bought mine. Kert has excellent customer service. He is willing to talk on the phone with you until you are satisfied or fully understand what you called him for.

I am currently installing a blackwidow performance shackle flip, I'll post pics later today if anyone is interested.

DIY, no question. Kert pwnz all.

That's the going to church flip and switch:D

Here are my Shackle Flips from DIY4X. I how they are so beefy and also Kert is a great guy to deal with, awesome customer service and competative prices. He'll get pretty custom with your parts if you want him to also.

damn, did you puch/flare all those holes or did it come like that??? that looks badass.

I modeled the bracket in 3d on AutoCAD... Kert fabbed it to those specs.
