Why does a hot shower feel so good?
cause it relaxes the muscles? good question though, i'm going in the spa later, and i know it will feel good, but as to why the warm water does... i dont know
It probably has something to do with the heat causing an increase in blood flow to the skin, which stimulates the nerve endings embedded within. Add to that the gentle massaging effect of the water on your now more-sensitive skin and voila!!!
Of course, they don't teach that kind of stuff in ditchdigger school, so I may be WAY off base!!!!
Oh, you know those steamy crew group showers at the end of the day, the dirt coming off, the relaxation, they have to teach you something
Canmore you just gave me a headache.
Mail me a freeze dried white russian for the pain. Package that and you can retire.
Ah.. it's simple really, try a cold one, and ask yourself that same question.
