Would you make the trade?

VIN tag should be on the drivers door jam on 75. Held on with 4 rosette pop rivits.

yeah, was just going to say same thing, and the floor should be flat up to the front buckets. I notice the gas cap, instead of the door. Other than that, I don't know the differences.

Went to the trouble of installing the 81 & up front bumper also that mounts differently.
Has rocker boxes as stated is a good sign.

its a 75 tub, frame trans/t-case and axles, i verified. It has some holes (6" or so) cut in the rocker box area right under the seat bolts so they could be sandblasted and painted when the chassis and underside was done. its titled as a 1975 VIN matches tags and title. The guy im getting it from said the previous owner had a 85 in HS but wanted a full top so thats the reason for the conversion.

This is just so awesome. Full vert done well. Nice cruise around rig.

Not stock so no worries about modding it.

Just awesome

Thanks man, If it was a first gen, or another type of car like a camaro where keeping it stockish would up the value, I might not do the deal, on this one it wouldn't take much to make it stock if I wanted to. The owner and I have similar tastes, most of what he did is stuff I would do. At this point I'm really leaning towards putting the right front clip on and just painting it. There's enough small stuff to keep me occupied until it's time for suspension.

Might want to see if he has the original seats, center console and any thing else he removed that is original to 75.
These things are getting harder to find.

He bought it like that 4-5 years ago, i was a bit disappointed that some of the key 75 pieces were gone. If I was paying/trading for more I'd be more concerned. I've already got my eye on some original door panels and a NOS dash locally.

He has two salvageable doors, and a pretty decent pile of extra parts that I'm getting. Including the rear sport bar/roll bar.

I'm actually looking for a hickey/ warn pushbar, he's got some nice Cibie lights. I've got some 70's spoke wheels I'll be putting on that I just blasted and are ready for paint.

Ask if he knows if the doors have been replaced with later model doors, those have locking vent windows that could have been added.
73-76 doors take a smaller door panel and will not cover all the holes for the later door panels if your looking to install the older door panels.
