Just got back from a junkyard. They have vehicles that are for sale also. There was an 87 3/4 2wd big block Suburban there. $1650, had barn doors, rear ac, 14bsf, and looked decent inside. Would need a lot of care. Under the hood it looked GREAT!!

Last time I was there, they had a dana 44 with 8 lug hubs. I wanted the axles and was going to sell the hubs/brakes. I waited for a 50% sale, missed the first, and just got back from the second. The truck was gone:doah:Dammit, I wanted those axles for spares. Would have been CHEAP getting the whole thing.

Lastly, I came across a Ford, maybe 80s or early 90s. It was a dually w/ flat bed. The axle was MASSIVE! Way bigger than my 14b, had a fill plug, and the webbing was wide. It had a large yoke with U-bolt style clamps, the good ones. Could this be used on my 14b?

Saw a 55-57 chevy truck long bed step side out there. Really sad to see it torn apart. The front clip was lying on the ground, solid but now twisted. Had a two barrel carb with newer EGR engine. Pretty much stripped except body. Lots of C10s out there too.
thanks
