Overview
My Buick story.
In 1971, my Grandfather purchased a 1971 Buick Skylark 4 door. I was 5 years old, and it was the first new car that I had ever ridden in.
Many years later, around 1989 I got a 1970 Buick Skylark 4 door, with the GS 350 engine in it. It was ugly, but it hauled ass! I blew up several rearends from doing massive burnouts in it. I finally blew up the engine, and it went to the crusher. Sad day!
In 1993, I had the chance to buy a 1970 Buick GS455 TH400 car. My friend Scott only wanted $800 for the car, but I was a poor boy, and couldn't come up with the money. Another sad day!
Fast forward 33 years, and an older couple (80's) decided to get rid of their 3 Buicks. They are going to give their son the 1966 GS. They are going to sell their 1965 Skylark. They decided to give away their 1971 GS!
After going to get the car, I found out that it is an original owner, 55,000 mile, GS 455 Stage1! The Holy Grail of Buicks!
